The TXC-1 is a transmitter controller designed to interface with many transmitters, including Gap GeoPhysics and Zonge transmitters.
It provides the extremely precise timing signals to produce a square, bi-polar waveform. Timing is maintained via GPS signals, and so the system should easily remain in sync with receiver systems that also have GPS timing.
A duty cycle from 25% to 100% is possible, with frequencies from 1Hz to 128Hz.
SAM surveys typically use a transmitter frequency of 4-8Hz, with a 50% duty cycle.
