Geophysicist
An opportunity exists within our small group providing leading proprietary and other geophysical services to the mineral exploration industry in Australia and expanding overseas.
Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in Geophysics or related field

Experience acquiring high quality geophysical data, including survey design and grid preparation

Responsible personal character, with proven leadership skills.

Experience working in remote areas
-
Ability to deal with technical and operational issues running a crew in remote locations.

Ability to motivate small teams on field projects
-
Good verbal and written communication ability; fluent in English

Ability to pass on knowledge to others effectively
-
Experience with standard Microsoft Windows software
-
Positive attitude and attention to detail.

Mechanical and technical competence. Able to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs of field equipment when necessary.

High level of physical fitness. Outdoor skills.

Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety conscious attitude

Current "C" Driver's licence (MR desirable).

Current senior first aid and police clearance

Field Assistant
We are also seeking field assistants to working as part of a geophysical survey crew in various locations around Australia.
Requirements:

Experience of working in remote areas and of same work/ similar is desirable but not essential.

Willing to work away in remote locations for several weeks at a time
-
Must be able to get on well with others and work effectively in a team environment.

Physically fit.

Practical outlook with mechanical capability desirable

Current "C" Driver's licence (MR desirable).

Police clearance and Senior first aid certificate is desirable.
